In 2022, UPMC announced a partnership to establish a UPMC Hillman Cancer Center in Croatia. The agreement will provide access to cutting-edge cancer therapies to patients in Croatia and neighboring countries. The UPMC Hillman Cancer Center will be located on the campus of Zabok General Hospital, approximately 25 miles from the Croatian capital of Zagreb. It is expected to open in 2025 and will be managed by UPMC.
