UPMC Children's Ball

Are you with the band? Grab your concert tickets and air guitar! There’s a world tour in town, and you won’t want to miss this one-of-a-kind rock star event. Dance to the hottest music, sing your heart out, and experience the celebrity treatment of a real-life rock star as you navigate the Carnegie Science Center with your backstage pass!

Strolling performers, dancing, music and balloon artists will be among the Science Center’s many hands-on scientific wonders. Let’s rock and roll down the red carpet and enjoy our main act – a wonderful evening of family fun!

Andy Russell Celebrity Classic
Date: May 16-17, 2013
Venue: The Club at Nevillewood
Benefits: UPMC Department of Urology and UPMC Sports Medicine Concussion Program

Join Andy Russell, former Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker and two-time Super Bowl winner, and a stellar listing of celebrity athletes for a round of golf to benefit three worthy beneficiaries. Now in its 37th year, the Andy Russell Celebrity Classic is widely recognized as one of the most prestigious golf tournaments in the western Pennsylvania. 

This tournament has raised more than $5 million for many worthwhile projects over the years and has included golfers such as Rocky Bleier, Mel Blount, Louis Lipps, Bill Mazeroski, John Majors, Bill Cowher and Lynn Swann. 

This year’s tournament will take place at The Club at Nevillewood. Designed by PGA legend Jack Nicklaus, this course is considered among the finest in the region.
