dbMotion is a premier provider of health care information integration software that facilitates interoperability and health information exchange (HIE) for health information networks and integrated health care delivery systems. dbMotion enables health care enterprises to connect and integrate disparate applications and systems. Using Web-based technology, dbMotion provides secure, seamless access to clinical data from systems that are otherwise unconnected, and have no common data-sharing technologies, which can reduce medical errors and duplication of procedures. At UPMC, dbMotion integrates data from multiple systems and presents the data within core systems and work flow.
H3i
UPMC has invested significantly in technology and developed a robust, skilled, and sophisticated IT organization to support UPMC’s global operations and commercialization of IT services. Through H3i, UPMC exports these IT skills internationally and is currently working on a project to install and adapt electronic health record applications at three Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals in the United Kingdom. Applications include inpatient order entry, patient administration, pharmacy management, accident and emergency services, and operating room systems.

Integration of this software with all major preexisting health care enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems allows Prodigo Solutions to provide industry-leading performance to health care SCM.
