Job Opening ID Search

If you know the 7 digit Job Opening ID number, enter this in the Job Opening ID text box and click Search. You don’t need to type in any other search criteria if you know the Job Opening ID number.

How do I perform a keyword search?  

The Keyword search field is a powerful tool that can help you find the exact jobs you are looking for by typing a single word or a phrase. Keyword searches will find jobs which contain matching words or phrases in any searchable job field including the job title and the job description.  

See examples below on the Keyword search options. Avoid using quotes or punctuation such as commas. Use the following guidelines for the Keyword search field to get  specific search results.

OR Finds either one word or the other. typing OR filing
Finds either word separately, but could find both words in some instances, returns more results.
This operator is not case-sensitive.
AND Finds multiple words or phrases. typing AND filing
Will find both of those words grouped together in the job description, returns less results.
This operator is not case-sensitive.
Wildcards * Finds words that start with or ends with your search string. train*
Will find "trainer", "trained", and "training".
Do NOT use the asterisk to specify the first character of a string.
AND NOT Finds the first word on a page the does not include the second word. typing AND NOT filing
Will only return a job description with the word "typing" but without the word "filing".
This operator is not case-sensitive.
( ) Groups words or phrases. Other search terms can appear inside the parentheses (typing AND filing) AND NOT transcription
Will find a job description with the words "typing" and "filing", but not "transcription".
Do NOT use ( ) around single words.
