- Attention certified registered nurse practitioners (CRNP): Would you thrive in an inpatient acute care setting, working daylight hours, Mondays through Fridays? UPMC Passavant has a great opportunity for a CRNP to help support an inpatient medical/surgical nursing unit. This position is full-time and will work daylight hours, M-F. The CRNP will assist in providing continuity of patient care on a designated inpatient nursing unit by performing physical exams, ordering appropriate laboratory and diagnostic procedures, documenting patient information, and providing education to patients, families, and staff. - If you are a nurse with strong assessment, teaching, and collaboration skills, in this role you will see patients in their home within 24 hours of a non-admission ED visit in order to reduce readmissions. You will be pivotal in reducing readmissions: coordination of care, medication understanding and compliance, engaging the patient and family with actively participating in care, and timely coordination with the physician and entire healthcare team. This is a full-time position with UPMC/Jefferson Regional Home Health working Monday through Friday daylight with varying weekend hours.
