A Day in the Life of a Summer Associate

“There’s nothing like coming to work and being excited about not only the work you’re doing, but also the people you’re working with. The strong sense of community and the clear dedication to UPMC’s mission amongst my coworkers is what made me come back to UPMC for a second summer in a row!”

- Sandrine Nkuranga, 2014 Finance Summer Associate, 2013 Human Resources Summer Associate

“The 2014 Summer Associates program has done great work in the community by partnering with different community organizations to donate items, volunteer time, and attend events. I believe this leaves a huge impact on both sides. The community is able to see young people giving back to the community, and the Summer Associates experience intrinsic growth through the art of service. Just being able to just talk to different people and learn their stories has been the most valuable experience that I have ever had, and the program provided me with great ways to do so.”

- Mychael Lee, 2014 Human Resources Summer Associate
