Graduate Medical Education Application Process

The application process for residencies and fellowships is specified by each program. Please visit the individual program’s website for application process details.

ERAS is a service that transmits credentials from you and your designated dean's office to program directors, including:

  • applications
  • letters of recommendation (LoRs)
  • Medical Student Performance Evaluations (MSPEs)
  • medical school transcripts
  • USMLE transcripts
  • COMLEX transcripts
  • and other supporting credentials

ERAS consists of MyERAS (the website where you create your application), the Dean's Office Workstation (DWS), the Program Director's Workstation (PDWS), and the ERAS Post Office. For more information, please visit the AAMC website.
