In addition, UPMC Horizon is among the leading hospitals in Pennsylvania in terms of the total number of joint replacements provided, and is known throughout the mid-Atlantic region as a major orthopaedic center. This community hospital is affiliated with the University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute and UPMC Cancer Centers.

Our nurses have the opportunity to have their voices heard through committees. From our Professional Practice Council to the Patient Care Service Peer Review Council, organizational leaders rely on the experience, expertise, and opinions of our nurses to drive nursing practice.
