UPMC Center for Advanced Robotics Training - Testimonials

"Dear Dr. Zeh,

Again I'd like to thank you and your entire Team, especially Dr. Hogg and Dr. Zureikat for the opportunity to be a guest at your department. I really appreciated your comments on my video and your teaching during surgery. It is very challenging to be teaching not only the fellow surgeon but also guests from abroad. So again thank you very much!

Although I'd liked to stay longer, I have learned many useful things for my daily practice. Especially your approach to the duodeno-jejunal flexure and your technique for the Blumgart anastomosis were very reasonable compared to our prior technique.

After returning to Kiel, I was able to perform a robotic Whipple in 6.30 hours adopting your approach, which is a great improvement, since the first five cases took us about 8.30 hours. Furthermore, the patient could be discharged on day 9 and the postoperative course was completely uneventful.

I'd appreciate if we could stay in contact.

Best regards to you and your entire team, especially Dr. Hogg and Dr. Zureikat and the outpatient clinics Team."
