UPMC Mercy is a Regional Resource Trauma Center with a faith-based approach to patient care.

Founded in 1895, the Jameson Memorial Hospital School of Nursing ​ has trained more than 2,500 nurses with a focus on improving the health and wellness of their communities.

Each program allows students to learn from exceptional nurses, faculty, and patient care teams.

Flexible Learning Opportunities at UPMC​

UPMC Schools of Nursing offer both full-time and part-time programs for students who need flexibility in their education.

We may also award you credit for courses that you've already completed, so please contact us for more information.

Quality You Can Trust

UPMC Schools of Nursing are accredited and approved by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing.

Our graduates are eligible for the NCLEX-RN exam, and will earn a diploma in nursing upon graduation.

Also, if graduates wish to further their education, they receive priority admission to the RN-BSN program at our partner universities.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
