Admission Requirements for UPMC Schools of Nursing

  • Graduation from an accredited high school or satisfactory completion of GED (General Equivalency diploma). High School seniors can submit an anticipated graduating transcript.
  • Completion of (2) science course completed in high school, post-secondary institution, or combination of both.
  • Completion of an Algebra course in high school or post-secondary institution.
  • Submission of a qualifying TEAS score. Certain applicants are exempt from the TEAS exam including UPMC employees, Bachelor’s degree recipients, and active LPNs.
  • Submission of all required supporting admission documents by the application deadline.
