We offer both full-time, part-time, LPN-RN bridge, and extended option for students who need flexibility in their education. We may also award you credit for courses that you've already completed, so please contact us for more information.
New enrollees can qualify for up to $21,000 in tuition loan forgiveness with UPMC Schools of Nursing.
2024-25 FAFSA Update: The U.S. Department of Education has updated the timeline for the 2024-25 FAFSA due to late formula corrections. As a result, all submitted FAFSAs are currently on hold until the corrections are finalized. Unfortunately, this means that FAFSA data will not be released to higher education institutions until mid-March at the earliest. Read more.

UPMC Mercy is a Regional Resource Trauma Center with a faith-based approach to patient care.
Founded in 1895, the Jameson Memorial Hospital School of Nursing has trained more than 2,500 nurses with a focus on improving the health and wellness of their communities.
Each program allows students to learn from exceptional nurses, faculty, and patient care teams.
UPMC Schools of Nursing are accredited and approved by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing.
Our graduates are eligible for the NCLEX-RN exam, and will earn a diploma in nursing upon graduation.
Also, if graduates wish to further their education, they receive priority admission to the RN-BSN program at our partner universities.
We are currently conducting in-person learning for all nursing courses. Non nursing courses are instructed both in-person and virtually, and subject to change.
