UPMC Senior Outreach Liaisons - Northern Tier

Serving Health Care Professionals Throughout Northern Pennsylvania and Ohio

Thomas Reiser, senior manager, Outreach Services, and Anthony DeLeonibus and Susan Piccirilli, senior outreach liaisons, serve as personal contacts for referring physicians and other health care professionals to address questions, issues, or concerns.

They provide education and updates on new or enhanced UPMC service lines and offer expert assistance with bringing quality health care services to areas in the northern tier.

With a solid background in health care, marketing, and managed care, Anthony DeLeonibus has served in liaison roles for nearly a decade.

His primary focus has been developing sound client relationships and ensuring the delivery of quality services.

Anthony possesses a strong working knowledge of insurance plans and benefits, as well as expertise in capitation and fee-for-service.

Susan Piccirilli possesses an impressive background, with professional experience ranging from marketing and public relations, to provider relations and government affairs.

She has successfully managed the recruitment of medical and dental providers, negotiated affiliation agreements with hospitals and community organizations, and provided assistance with grant applications on both state and federal levels.

Thomas Reiser, CRNP


Bringing extensive outreach and clinical experience, Thomas Reiser leads outreach services for the Northern Tier along with UPMC's regional outreach efforts.

In addition to focusing efforts on emergency and critical care departments, he also works as a CRNP in several UPMC emergency departments.

He has a strong background in developing outreach and service recovery strategies to increase referrals and improve customer satisfaction.
