Regional UPMC Senior Outreach Liaisons

Serving Health Care Professionals Throughout Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Maryland, and Ohio

As Senior Outreach Liaisons, Cynthia Snyder and John Marcone serve as personal contacts for referring physicians and other health care professionals to address questions, issues, or concerns.

They provide education and updates on new or enhanced UPMC service lines and offer expert assistance with bringing quality health care services to you.

Cynthia A. Snyder

With a strong background in health care, Cynthia Snyder has established sound client relationships as she works to ensure the delivery of quality health care services.

 

Cynthia’s previous experience as a professional representative of the STAT MedEvac organization has enabled her to coordinate and execute programs and services that will enhance the quality of care throughout the area.

 

As UPMC Senior Outreach Liaison, Cynthia is primarily responsible for meeting the needs of emergency department and hospital-based physicians throughout Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Maryland.

John Marcone, RN

John Marcone, RN

John Marcone possesses a notable background in health care, where his professional experience as a registered nurse led him to later becoming the first nurse liaison in the Pittsburgh area.

 

He established Greater Pittsburgh Rehab’s (now named Monroeville Health South) referral base — marketing hospitals and physicians. In addition, John gained extensive knowledge and developed solid relationships while working in the role of Marketing Director for two Pittsburgh-based health care facilities.

 

John has been visiting physician offices in his current role of UPMC Senior Outreach Liaison for more than five years.
