Magnet Update

UPMC St. Margaret granted site visit by the American Nurses Credentialing Center, Magnet Program Office

UPMC St. Margaret will continue its journey to Magnet designation with a site visit in December by surveyors from the Magnet Recognition Program® .

Magnet designation is regarded as the gold standard for nursing excellence and has been awarded to only 3 percent of hospitals nationwide.
