Patient Dining Experience

UPMC East provides an interactive dining experience for all patients through the use of a host/hostess program. A host or hostess will visit each patient throughout their admission to accept meal orders and to answer any questions a patient or family may have about the meal selections and diet ordered.

The quality of product and service that we provide is important to us. If at any time a patient is dissatisfied with his or her meal, they are encouraged to speak with their host/hostess or nurse so that we may make corrections timely.

Vending Machines & ATM

Vending machines and an ATM machine are located on the first floor of the hospital near the Emergency Department’s Patient and Family area.

Crazy Mocha

Located on the ground floor, Crazy Mocha features coffee, tea, and a variety of other drinks. It also features sandwiches and baked goods.
