Thomas A. Tupitza

Thomas A. Tupitza is president of the Erie-based law firm of Knox McLaughlin Gornall & Sennett, P.C., where he advises clients in the private, public, and nonprofit sectors, including health care providers and educational institutions, on finance, real estate, and governance matters. A past president of the Pennsylvania Association of Bond Lawyers, he is active in several other professional organizations, including the American Law Institute.
Mr. Tupitza is a trustee of the Hamot Health Foundation and of Westminster College, where he is immediate past chair of the board. He serves as a director of several other community organizations, including the Erie Regional Chamber and Growth Partnership (vice chair), The Nonprofit Partnership, and the Partnership for Erie’s Public Schools. He is a member of the Rotary Club of Erie and the Financial Advisory Team for Erie’s Public Schools.
He is a graduate of Westminster College and Harvard Law School, where he served as Executive Editor of the Harvard Civil Rights-Civil Liberties Law Review.
