Crisis Center at UPMC Western Behavioral Health at Safe Harbor

Safe Harbor opened in 1993 with a promise to provide quality behavioral health care to the people of Erie County. Since that time, the Crisis Center has grown to meet the needs of diverse groups facing a range of mental health challenges.

We provide help in six core areas:

• Crisis Services 24/7 365 days a year — access around-the clock crisis care by phone, walk-in, and mobile emergency services.
• Crisis Residential Unit — receive quality, 24-hour care in our healing, restful crisis unit.
• SafeLine — find support for kids and teens to help with many mental health issues, including bullying and depression.
• WarmLine — call to speak one-on-one with a peer specialist. All calls are free and confidential.
• Crisis Services Acute Need and Diversion Services — see our crisis therapy services and follow-up program at Safe Harbor.
• Critical Incident Stress Management — find help for trauma on the job for emergency, mental health, and other high-risk workers.
