Safe Harbor’s Crisis Residential Unit is a community alternative to inpatient mental health treatment at the hospital.
The Crisis Residential Unit is a voluntary program for adults who are having a mental health emergency. We’ll assess any person, age 18 or older, in crisis for admission of up to 5 days into the unit.
We've designed the eight-bed unit to be a home-like setting to help you work toward recovery.

To find out if you qualify for treatment in the Crisis Residential Unit, call Crisis Services at 814-456-2014. You must be at least 18 years old for admission to the crisis unit.
The unit is open seven days a week, 24 hours a day.
