The plastic surgeons who operate at UPMC Hamot offer the following types of cosmetic and reconstructive surgeries, as well as nonsurgical and laser procedures.
Body contouring
Includes procedures to lift and/or tighten the arms, legs, abdomen, and buttocks.
Breast procedures
Encompasses breast implants, lifts, reconstruction, and reduction.
Facial procedures (surgical and nonsurgical)
Surgery for the face, eyelids, ears, nose, and forehead, as well as BOTOX injections, fillers, chemical peels, and other nonsurgical facial procedures.
Laser surgery
Procedures to reduce hair, tighten skin, and reduce scars, acne, and wrinkles, and unwanted surface blood vessels, as well as treatments for toenail fungus (onychomycosis) and fractioned treatments for facial and spider veins.
Skin cancer treatment
Diagnosis of and removal of skin cancer lesions.
Wound treatment
Evaluation and treatment of acute and chronic wounds to expedite healing and help minimize scarring.
