Department of Transportation Physicals

Certified medical examiners are available at two locations in UPMC Hamot's service area to perform physicals for the Department of Transportation (DOT).

Commercial motor vehicle operators are required to have physical examinations performed by a certified medical examiner registered with the DOT. Once the physical is done, the medical examiner has 30 days to document that the physical was completed.

DOT physicals are offered at UPMC Urgent Care West and Pinecrest Family Practice. Please call to schedule an appointment.
