Dr. Matson received his medical degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed a family medicine residency at Community Hospital of Lancaster and a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at St. Luke's Hospital in Bethlehem, Pa., where he was named chief resident.

Dr. Matson is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology and offers over 20 years of ob-gyn experience. Most recently, he worked at UPMC Northwest in Seneca, Pa.

Dr. Wright is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology. She attended medical school at Ohio University - College of Osteopathic Medicine, in Athens, Ohio, and completed her residency at O'Bleness Memorial Hospital/Southern Ohio Medical Center. She has been caring for women for the past 16 years and serving the women of UPMC Horizon in Mercer County since 2003.

Dr. Noticewala received his medical degree from N.K.P. Salve Institute of Medical Science and Research Center in Nagpur, India. He completed his residency at Western Pennsylvania Hospital, Pittsburgh, and is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology.

Dr. Tseng has provided medical care for women in Erie for nearly 30 years. He received his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston and completed his residency at Saint Joseph Mercy Hospital in Pontiac, Mich. Dr. Tseng is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology.​

Dr. Picardo earned her medical degree at Wake Forest University School of Medicine and completed her residency at Oregon Health and Science University in Portland. Dr. Picardo has published multiple studies regarding obstetric and gynecologic care as well as presented lectures at national and international conferences.

She is board-certified in both obstetrics and gynecology as well ​as public health and general preventive medicine. Dr. Picardo has practiced medicine in the Erie area since 2002.

Lakshmi Vemulapalli, MD

UPMC Hamot is proud to welcome back Dr. Lakshmi Vemulapalli to its obstetrics and gynecologic team. Dr. Vemulapalli provides experienced care for women after practicing medicine for nearly 35 years in Erie. She earned her medical degree from Guntur Medical College, in India, and completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Homer G. Phillips Hospital in St. Louis. Dr. Vemulapalli also completed a fellowship at Long Island Jewish Hospital and Queens Hospital Center in New York City. She is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology.
