Hospital Auxiliaries Plan Annual Tree-Lighting Ceremonies
FARRELL AND GREENVILLE, November 12, 2012– The UPMC Horizon Greenville and Shenango Valley auxiliaries will once again usher in the holiday season with tree-lighting ceremonies.
The UPMC Horizon Greenville Auxiliary will host “Memories in Lights” Tuesday, Dec. 4, at 5:30 p.m. The evening kicks off with the lighting of the tree in the Garden of Life, which faces North Main Street, then moves to the hospital lobby for refreshments and entertainment.
Light sponsorships are available for $7 each. Anyone who wishes to hang a personalized angel on the tree to honor or remember a loved one should plan to arrive at 5 p.m.
The lighting of the “Remembrance Tree,” hosted by the UPMC Horizon Shenango Valley Auxiliary, will take place Saturday, Dec. 8, at 2 p.m. in the Shenango Valley campus cafeteria. For a $5 donation, a loved one may be honored or remembered through by placing his or her name on the tree.
