UPMC Horizon Birth Place to Host Memorial Tree

 FARRELL, November 21, 2012– The UPMC Horizon Birth Place will unveil its Memorial Tree in honor of babies lost to miscarriage, stillbirth, or infant death Saturday, Dec. 1, from 10 a.m. to noon in the Birth Place waiting room, located on the second floor of the Shenango Valley campus. The event is free and all are welcome to remember and share with others who have had similar experiences.
 
Ribbons will be available for signing and placing on the tree. Participants will also have the opportunity to make a tree ornament to take home and to make cards for the hospital’s Empty Arms program.
