Dr. Steele to join UPMC Community Medicine, Inc., and Expanded Orthopaedics Practice

GREENVILLE, June 29, 2012– John Steele, MD, orthopaedic surgeon, will join UPMC Community Medicine, Inc., and the practice of Horizon Orthopedics-UPMC effective Sunday, July 1.

A longtime member of UPMC Horizon’s medical staff, Dr. Steele is board-certified in orthopaedic surgery. He earned his medical degree from University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and completed post-graduate training at Cleveland Clinic Foundation. He recently relocated his downtown Greenville office to Greenville Medical Center-UPMC.

Dr. Steele joins orthopaedic surgeons Jerome Bonier, DO, Edward Uberti, DO, and Mark Gardner, DO, of Parkside Orthopedics-UPMC to form Horizon Orthopedics-UPMC.
