​Endocrinologist to Speak About the Latest in Diabetes Treatments

HERMITAGE, July 26, 2012– Esra Karslioglu, MD, endocrinologist with Horizon Endocrinology-UPMC, will present “Diabetes Treatments: How Far We Have Come” Wednesday, Aug. 15, at 6 p.m. at the Womancare Center of UPMC Horizon.

Dr. Karslioglu will provide an overview of available diabetes medications and insulin. She will also discuss the latest technology in diabetes treatments, including insulin pumps and constant glucose monitoring.
