As part of the UPMC CancerCenter network, UPMC Horizon provides high-quality, comprehensive cancer care to our community. In addition, through UPMC Cancer Center’s partnership with the University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute (UPCI), patients who seek cancer treatment at UPMC Horizon have access to some of the clinical trials available through UPCI.

UPMC CancerCenter at UPMC Horizon is accredited by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer and the American College of Radiation Oncology.

Specialty Programs

  • Gynecologic oncology ―specialists with the Magee Gynecologic Cancer Program see patients locally at the Womancare Center of UPMC Horizon, offering evaluation and treatment for ovarian, cervical, uterine, vulvar, or vaginal cancer.
  • Magee Comprehensive Breast Center at UPMC Horizon ―located at the Womancare Center of UPMC Horizon, the center offers convenient access to diagnostic imaging services including digital mammography, stereotactic breast biopsy, breast ultrasound, and ultrasound-guided breast biopsy. The center also works closely with medical and radiation oncologists to develop treatment plans for breast cancer patients.
