Esophageal and Lung Surgery Services at UPMC Horizon

The UPMC Horizon Esophageal and Lung Surgery Center offers comprehensive treatment and surgical care for diseases of the lung and esophagus. The institute is led by Joseph J. Wizorek, MD, a board certified cardiothoracic surgeon who specializes in the treatment of both malignant and benign conditions, and is the surgical director of the UPMC Horizon Lung Center.

The surgeons of the UPMC Horizon Esophageal and Lung Surgery Center are part of the UPMC Esophageal and Lung Surgery Institute (ELSI).  Led by James D. Luketich, MD, a renowned esophageal and thoracic surgeon, UPMC’s program is among the largest and most experienced thoracic surgical practices in the country.
