Routine Eye Care

Helping you achieve the best possible vision and eye health is our priority. Annual examinations are the first step in detecting changes in your vision. They can help identify symptomless eye problems, such as glaucoma, and reveal serious underlying health care conditions, including diabetes and high cholesterol.

Your eye exam will begin with a review of your medical history and a review of any problems you are experiencing. Your eyes will then be thoroughly examined for vision changes and overall health. If you require vision correction, a prescription for new glasses or contact lenses will be written.

We also have the medical expertise and diagnostic equipment to test for and identify a wide range of eye problems, including:

  • Blepharitis
    (inflammation of the eyelids)
  • Blind spots
  • Cancer of the eye
  • Cataracts
  • Corneal infections, abrasions, and infections
  • Diabetic eye disease
  • Dry eye
  • Eye sensitivity
  • Glaucoma (chronic and acute)
  • Infections of the eye
  • Low vision
  • Macular degeneration
  • Retinal detachments
  • Tear duct problems
  • Uveitis

If you need specialized eye care (link to new Our Experts page), you will be referred to a member of our medical team with expertise in your condition for further diagnosis, treatment, or surgery (if needed).
