UPMC Passavant Children's House Summer Program

About the Program

The UPMC Passavant Children’s House Summer Program runs from the middle of June to middle/late August.

In operation since 1997, the program is housed in the Providence Heights Alpha School, next to the hospital. The program has become a highlight for many children and their families as they reunite with friends from other areas and school districts in a fun and stimulating environment.

Mission and Philosophy

UPMC Passavant Children's House Summer Program is committed to promoting and enhancing the social, physical, cognitive, and emotional development of the school-age child. Through developmentally appropriate practices and group oriented and self-selected activities, the child will have the opportunity to learn, grow, and add to his or her life experiences.
