Mall Walkers Program
UPMC Heart and Vascular Institute at UPMC Passavant has partnered with Ross Park Mall to offer a walking program to residents of the North Hills that can help them get moving and support a more heart-healthy lifestyle.
The program offers individuals access to the 1.27 mile mall loop, monthly prize drawings, and free monthly educational programs.

Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program
A change in lifestyle often plays a major role in preventing a heart problem from developing or reccurring.
The Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program’s specialized team of nurses, exercise physiologists, respiratory therapists, and dietitians helps patients make lifestyle modifications through a personalized diet and exercise plan that promotes a heart-healthy way of living by reducing risk factors such as:
- Sedentary lifestyle
- High-fat diets
Community Education Programs
