Learn More About The Program

Founded in 1910, St. Margaret School of Nursing has been preparing nurses to serve in northeastern Allegheny county for over a century.

As a community-based teaching hospital, we:

  • Teach new nurses to see the whole person — as part of a larger society — rather than as a disease process.
  • Provide care for more than 50 municipalities in areas surrounding St. Margaret's.
  • Practice evidence-based, quality care for patients throughout the community.
