Having Surgery at UPMC St. Margaret

Thank you for choosing UPMC St. Margaret to provide your health care services. The Ambulatory Surgery Unit (ASU) at UPMC St. Margaret serves all of our surgical patients, as well as their families and visitors.

A Guide to Your Surgery will provide you with helpful information during your hospital visit, and may reduce stress associated with surgery.

The ASU waiting area front desk is staffed by a liaison Monday through Friday. Volunteers (wearing red jackets) assist us daily, and also are available to help you. Feel free to ask questions or request assistance from any of our staff members.
