The Western Psychiatric Homeless Continuum received a prestigious 2002 Significant Achievement Award from the American Psychiatric Association for innovative clinical services and support for this population.
“Housing First: A Strategy to End Homelessness” received The Hospital & Healthsystem Association of Pennsylvania (HAP) Community Benefit Achievement Award for 2013. This initiative helps chronically homeless individuals and families find shelter.
Through our Homeless Continuum program, we are able to provide over 250 housing opportunities to individuals in our county who are homeless and are living with mental illness.
