A state-of-the-art destination for cardiovascular care, the UPMC Heart and Vascular Institute at UPMC Passavant provides access to cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, and vascular specialists in one location — offering convenience to patients and streamlining diagnosis and evaluation.

Emergency Services

The Emergency Departments at both UPMC Passavant campuses provide the best possible emergency care — around the clock. UPMC Passavant has experienced, board-certified emergency medicine physicians at both locations.

Neurosurgery and Spine Center

Our Neurosurgery and Spine Center has extensive experience in the management and treatment of degenerative conditions of the spine, spine tumors, spinal deformities, and spinal injury, and offer both surgical and nonsurgical treatment options. Our interdisciplinary approach includes evaluation, testing, treatment, and rehabilitation.

The UPMC Passavant Spine Center will open a new location this summer.

Orthopaedic Surgery

Our Orthopaedic Surgery experts offer comprehensive, quality surgical care for orthopaedic conditions and diseases of the hip, knee, shoulder, elbow, hand, foot, and ankle.

Outpatient Surgery

Many surgeries are now available at UPMC Passavant on an outpatient basis, including gastrointestinal, and heart and vascular procedures, that allow you to return home the same day.
