Billy Gardell Headlines Benefit Show to Support Ovarian Cancer Research at Magee-Womens Research Institute

WHAT: Teal Ribbon Comedy show. In addition, there will be a silent auction featuring more than 50 items, including gift cards, jewelry, autographed sports memorabilia, travel packages and much more.

WHO: Pittsburgh native and star of “Mike and Molly,” Billy Gardell headlines this comedy show that will include an opening set by Joey O’Connell. WDVE’s Randy Baumann will emcee. The event is hosted by Mike and Julie McMullen in coordination with Magee-Womens Foundation.

WHEN: 6:30 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 8, 2011 VIP reception/silent auction begins; 7 p.m., doors open; 8 p.m., show starts 

WHERE: Stage AE, 400 North Shore Dr., between Heinz Field and PNC Park

WHY: Ovarian cancer is the most serious of all gynecologic cancers--only 30 percent of women diagnosed will survive. Proceeds will fund crucial ovarian cancer research at MWRI.
