Mylan Classic Golfers to Visit Patients and Families at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC

WHAT: Professional golfers of the Mylan Classic and their wives will visit with patients and families at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC for the “Fun Fore All” event. Patients will have the opportunity to engage in golf-themed activities, such as Wii golf on the big screen in the Atrium, an indoor mini golf course, and golf themed arts and crafts.

Patients will have the chance to get their faces painted and participate in decorating a mural that will be on display at the tournament during the week at Southpointe Country Club. Entertainer Frank Cappelli will perform children’s songs during the visit.

The golfers also will pose for pictures and sign autographs for the patients.

WHEN: 2 to 3:30 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 30, 2011

Note to Media: Media interested in attending this should park in the hospital’s main driveway and meet in the lobby to be escorted to the event.
