Notable Pitt Alum, Ascension Health Leader Robert Henkel to Speak

WHAT: University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Public Health alumnus Robert J. Henkel will deliver a lecture, “Quality and Innovation in the Era of Health Reform,” and will participate in an informal discussion about his career path and his insights as a hospital executive.

WHEN: 10 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 13, 2011 (lecture); 1:30 p.m. (discussion)

WHERE: A115 Crabtree Hall, Graduate School of Public Health

WHY: The Graduate School of Public Health will host a special lecture and informal discussion with notable University of Pittsburgh alumnus Robert J. Henkel. He is the leader of Ascension Health, an 18,000-bed, non-profit healthcare system with 500 locations in 20 states and the District of Columbia.

The events are free and open to the public.
