Pittsburgh Steelers Rookie Class to Make Annual Visit to Patients at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC

WHAT: The Pittsburgh Steelers rookie class, joined by DVE Morning Show host Randy Baumann, will make their annual visit to patients and families at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC. The hospital’s Child Life Department will be organizing a Steelers’ Pep Rally in the Eat’n Park Atrium, with crafts, game stations and activities for patients and players to participate in together.

Players also will pose for pictures and sign autographs for the patients.

WHEN: 2 p.m. to 3 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2011                

WHERE: Eat’n Park Atrium, Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC, One Children’s Hospital Dr., 4401 Penn Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15224

Note to Media: Media interested in attending should park in the hospital’s main driveway and meet in the lobby to be escorted to the event.
