
Cumberland Crossing Manor Recipient of Annual Ernst & Young’s Day of Service
WHAT:
Cumberland Crossing Manor, a UPMC assisted living residence, will serve as the site of the 2012 Ernst & Young day of service.
WHY:
Ernst & Young is recognized as one of the world’s leading professional service organizations. Approximately 15 to 20 Ernst & Young employees will spend the company day of service, known as EY Connect Day, volunteering at Cumberland Crossing Manor.
The basic focus of EY Connect Day is for employees to get involved in education, environmental sustainability or entrepreneurship. The volunteers will be cleaning and preparing the area of landscaping in front of Cumberland Crossing for spring planting.
The Ernst & Young employees will then have lunch at Cumberland Crossing, giving them an opportunity to socialize with the residents.
