- A recently published study by UPMC and the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine on wheelchair breakdowns and health consequences found 52 percent of people with spinal cord injuries required wheelchair repairs in the preceding six months, many of them needing multiple service appointments.
- The SCI Peer Support Group allows wheelchair-bound people to connect, share and rejuvenate.
