UPMC Bedford Memorial Alive & Well Series Presents Overview of COPD Causes, Symptoms and Treatments

WHAT: Educational presentation on recognizing the early warning signs of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), its causes and symptoms, and advanced treatment options. You will learn about proper inhaler use and lifestyle changes that can help you feel better, stay more active and help manage your COPD. Light refreshments will be served.
 
WHY: COPD is one of the most common lung diseases and can limit airflow and make it harder to breathe.
 
WHO:
  • Keith Eicher, D.O., is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. Dr. Eicher is a full-time hospitalist at UPMC Bedford Memorial.
  • Margaret Moran, R.R.T., is registered with the National Board for Respiratory Care. Ms. Moran is a Lead Respiratory Therapist II, at UPMC Bedford Memorial since 2009.
