UPMC Hosts Monthly Career Development Series

WHAT: UPMC is offering a free, monthly Career Development Series for job seekers.  Each session will teach participants how to navigate the UPMC website, apply for jobs online, write an effective resume, and prepare for interviews.
 
WHO: Individuals interested in employment opportunities at UPMC. Past participants have included job seekers across the healthcare spectrum; including researchers, nurses, service workers and corporate professionals.
 
WHEN: Sessions are offered on a monthly basis:
  • Thursday, March 21, 3-5 p.m.
  • Thursday, April 18, 3-5 p.m.
  • Thursday, May 23, 3-5 p.m.
  • Thursday, June 20, 3-5 p.m.
WHERE: Medical Arts Building, 3708 5th Avenue, Pittsburgh (Oakland)
 
WHY: Attendees will have the opportunity to walk-through the UPMC online application process, receive feedback on resume formatting, and gain insight on how to maximize the efforts of their job search.
