WHAT: UPMC St. Margaret and the St. Margaret Foundation are hosting an Alive & Well health presentation to educate the community on heart health and ways to improve cardiovascular strength. A free, hot dinner will be provided, and parking will be validated.

 

Free health screenings and education include:

 

  • Blood Pressure
  • Cholesterol (includes LDL, HDL, triglycerides)
  • Blood Sugar
  • Stroke Education
  • Ask the Expert

WHO: Michael J. Curren Jr., M.D., cardiologist, UPMC Heart and Vascular Institute at UPMC St. Margaret will present a heart-to-heart talk about simple lifestyle changes that can improve your overall heart health and the signs, symptoms and latest treatments for heart disease.
