Robert  A. DeMichiei

​Robert A. DeMichiei has been senior vice president and chief financial officer at UPMC since 2004.  Previously, Mr. DeMichiei held various executive finance roles with the General Electric Company (GE), including manager of finance, global business development & integration for GE Energy, and chief financial officer for GE Transportation Systems' Global Service Operations.  He also was a 10-year employee for Price Waterhouse in Pittsburgh.

Mr. DeMichiei is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and is a certified public accountant.  He currently serves on the boards of the United Way of Allegheny County, Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC, UPMC Passavant, Hampton Boys Lacrosse, and the Duquesne Club.
