​Dr. Heyman's major interest is in the clinical care and education of people with MS.  Active with the National Multiple Sclerosis Society (NMSS) locally and nationally, serving on the National Council of Clinical Advisory Committee Chairs and the National Medical Advisory Board, Dr. Heyman has been named to the NMSS Volunteer Hall of Fame and has been named to Woodward and White's Best Doctors list for several years.

Dr. Heyman completed his medical school training at The Ohio State University in 1985 and his neurology training at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in 1989. He completed a fellowship in electroencephalography in 1990. He is Board Certified in Neurology and Sleep Disorders Medicine
