Seasons Change at the First Niagara Fall Harvest Festival at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC
WHAT: To help welcome in the fall season, First Niagara will host a Fall Harvest Festival for patients and families at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC.
The hospital’s Atrium will be transformed into a farm-like atmosphere to simulate a real pumpkin picking experience. Patients will have the opportunity to pick out their own pumpkin from the pumpkin patch and then creatively paint it afterward. Other activities include scarecrow crafts and family photo opportunities.
Families will also be able to indulge in fall refreshments such as apples and caramel, cupcakes and apple cider.
This is the first in a series of events made possible by a gift from First Niagara. The series, named “The First Niagara Family Celebration Series,” will include programming throughout the year.
