WHY: World Day of the Sick is a global observance held annually since 1992 to remind the faithful to pray for those who are sick as well as the alleviation of human suffering and to recognize and honor those who work in health care and as caregivers.

Note to Media: Parking is available on the driveway in front of the main entrance.  A member of the media relations team will meet you in the lobby of the hospital and escort you to the chapel.
