Pittsburgh Steelers Participate in 5th Annual Healthy Cooking Demo for Magee Breast Cancer Survivors

WHAT: Steelers players and Magee nutrition and culinary staff will demonstrate the preparation of healthy entrees, including quesadillas and stir-fry, emphasizing the link between good nutrition and cancer survival.

WHY: The Magee-Womens Breast Cancer Program of UPMC CancerCenter stresses the importance of good nutrition and breast cancer survival because maintaining a healthy weight and eating a healthy diet promotes overall health and may protect individuals against the disease.
The Pittsburgh Steelers are joining the NFL and its teams in promoting breast cancer awareness during the month of October.
