Celebration to Honor Chair of Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC Board of Trustees

WHAT: A celebration to honor Mary Jo Dively, chair of Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC Board of Trustees, who is stepping down from that role after 15 years.

Throughout Dively’s 15 years of board leadership, the hospital has thrived in the areas of clinical services, national and international recognition, and philanthropic support from the community. She will remain an active member of both the hospital and Foundation Board of Trustees.

Howard “Hoddy” Hanna has now transitioned from chair of Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh Foundation to the chairman of the hospital board. These changes became effective July 1.

Hanna has served as chair of the Board of Trustees for the Foundation since 2009, and previously served as a Board member since its inception in July 2000. His commitment and dedication to Children’s over the years has been instrumental in enhancing the mission of the hospital.
